The Road To Permanent Fat Loss Begins Once You Create A Positive Mindspace That Allows More Favorable Habits To Creep In.


Simply reframing your thoughts can lead to you taking more favorable ACTIONS.


You see those incredible transformations slide across your news feed everyday. You know the ones I’m talking about, that shed an entire person from their frame?


They did this by acting like the person they wanted to become.


BUT, HOW DO YOU ASSUME THE MINDSET OF

WHO YOU WANT TO BE RIGHT NOW?

1: Keep visual reminders of your goals nearby.

If you’re a visual person, maybe keep an old picture in sight of when you were at your ideal look pinned on the bathroom mirror or fridge where you’ll see it often..


I’ve seen some of my clients fill their IG feed full of fitness athletes with a similar body type that they wanted to achieve


It can be anything that will serve as a constant reminder of your goals and why you're doing what you're doing.


Each time you see your visual reminder, it’s important to stop and allow yourself to VISUALIZE how it would FEEL to be in that position right NOW.


Visualize the future moment when you're at your goal size and LOOK, and you feel AMAZING mentally and physically.


How will that feeling change the way you live in the world? Different right?


You need to act like that NOW and your mind and body will follow.


Willpower is great, but when you create a mindset shift, looking forward to that bowl of Greek and a banana instead of the chocolate chip muffin, that's when the magic happens and it can happen, you fake it until you make it, you create a new habit with a mindset shift.


When the WILL to be that person you want to be is STRONGER than the chocolate cake sitting in front of you,

you’re on the RIGHT PATH.

2: Change Your Words, Change Your Mindset

Words are powerful. In a critical moment, they can motivate you or burst your bubble. And sometimes all you need to change your mindset is a new word.


Create a new dialogue in your head.


If you say you hate going to the gym, saying you “hate” going to the gym is only setting you up for failure.


When those feelings of procrastination and not wanting to go creep up on you, that’s the TRIGGER to say to yourself, “I’m going to feel so much better after I finish my workout,” “It’s only 30 mins or an hour of my day,” say to yourself, “I’m LOOKING forward to going” even if you're not, you gotta trick your brain.


And it works.

3: Journaling

Journaling forces you to turn inward.


I’ve seen the lives of my amazing clients FLIP AROUND due to the internal connection that journaling provides in their process of FAT LOSS.


They spend just 10-20 mins a day reflecting on their lives, thoughts, and emotions by writing them down.

And I encourage you to do the same.


Not only will you begin to have a deeper sense of purpose on the way towards your goals, but you’ll also be able to see patterns of thoughts and habits that can potentially be holding you back.


It’s through that introspection

that you can address these issues head on,

and find a solution to getting them out of your way.

4: Self Care / Personal Development

I think one of the best ways to start a personal development program is through weight training. For one, many of the benefits of lifting and proper nutrition are experienced straight away with zero wait time and well, everyone loves immediate gratification.


(it also helps with program adherence)

These can come in the form of

  • Increased CONFIDENCE,

  • BETTER hormone optimization,

  • CLEARER THINKING

  • and of course, LOOKING better.


The “off the couch gains” that a newbie enjoys are quick and easily noticed by their peers and all of that new found swag bleeds into


every aspect of your life in a positive way.


Once the thinking is clear and that body is in shape, they begin to work together with more fluidity, the mind needs as much training as the body.


That is when other avenues of higher levels of consciousness and the resources that ALLOW for the achievement of just that will be consumed willfully.


The outlook will change. The way you feel will change.


And not just about yourself.


And not just about other people.
